I don’t think Scott McClellan is a coward. It is perfectly okay to admit mistakes. Better late than never. Also please try to understand that a man cannot go to his grave with a guilt in his heart, a guilt that he had enough time to shed by confession keeping in line with Christian values and principles that he cited. On the contrary, I think he is a very brave man.

I really feel sorry for the man because he will be vilified like nothing else in an election year both by the Republicans and the Democrats alike.

I don’t think he is a coward. I believe he is a moron. In order to make up for a past mistake where he was a die hard supporter of George Bush for his propaganda against Iraq to justify an invasion, he has made another mistake by admitting that he now believes that he was mislead.

Yes indeed! But perhaps we can give him the benefit of doubt that it occurred to him then itself when he was writing the draft for his book. Then it took another couple of years to polish, edit and rehash it before publishing it finally. Long drawn out process you see. :)

It’s called the bottom line... his career is flagging so why not write a tell all book.

If he was so outraged he should have immediately spoken out.. but then there wouldn’t have been a book to write and thousands of dollars to be made.

And it is one man’s word... who knows if there is any truth in it.
