Interesting writing...The US has seen 42 male President and not single woman president till the date. Now, the time has come to elect woman president in the country. Obama should get out of the race in favor of Hillary.

@ Patrick, Is there any specific reason you are supporting the idea of first female President only? I am in favor of first black president of US this time. It will send a good message to the people of African-American community living in US and in other neighboring countries.

Extremely humorous post, The Us president should be definitely a war veteran like a 47-year-old veteran of World War II. Your comment on selecting a veteran from a war like Korea or Vietnam is funny. Don’t rate Kosovo and Somalia as war but the Gulf wars of then and now should be in the options.

With all due respect to the author and his hilarious sentiments, I would like to say that there is no such thing as an ’Ideal American President’ or for that matter an Ideal President for just any damn nation.

Coming back to the point, Americans are surely a breed with high dreams, but alas! dreams shatter so easily. As of today, America, one of the king of economy, is suffering from a little too many ailments including but not restricted to recession, unemployment, exorbitant crime rate, etc.

And last but not least, the failure of America in Afghanistan and Iraq.

So, taking into consideration the en numbers of so-called Ideal Presidents who have tried their best, but failed drastically to make it past the winning point, it is but a folly to dream of an Ideal American President.
